Having worked many years as an artist, my work has progressed by building upon previous work and adding, changing and experimenting to go forward in a straight line. At this time in my life – turning 70 was a game changer – I’ve decided to throw caution to the wind and abandon safety and comfort to go into the wilderness and see where the twisting road takes me. When my work feels a little bit uncomfortable, I take that as a sign I’m doing something right.
